Adjuvant Therapy (as defined by the NCI): Treatment given after the primary treatment to increase the chances of a cure. Adjuvant therapy may include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, hormone therapy, or biological therapy.
We are now enrolling patients in a Phase III clinical trial testing erlotinib as an adjuvant therapy in patients who have undergone surgery for non-small cell lung cancer with EGFR-positive tumors.
